Kolkata Knight Rriders` yes to IPL ties at Cuttack

Orissa Cricket Association today announced to have obtained the nod from Shah Rukh Khan-owned Kolkata Knight Riders to conduct a few matches at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack later this year. ‘‘KKR coach John Buchanan and CEO Joy Bhattacharya gave the green signal after seeing the facilities at the stadium today,’’ OCA secretary Asirbad Behera said. Buchanan and Bhattacharya had a close look of the players’ dressing room, gymnasium and the newly constructed Orissa Cricket Academy, besides visiting two city hotels during the day. ‘‘They expressed their satisfaction about the facilities available at Barabati Stadium during a discussion with me at OCA office,’’ Behera claimed.
